DearValued Patient,

Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming “normal” habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

As you know and have previously seen during your visits, infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. We follow recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and we maintain optimal health of our patients and staff.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

  • We will be asking some pre-screening questions when confirming your appointment. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
  • To help limit the number of patients in the waiting area, we request that you come to your appointment alone, unless unable, and will be utilizing a virtual waiting room. Please wait in your car upon arrival; you will receive a text message when your room is ready.
  • We will require you to wear a face covering when entering the office and have hand sanitizer available upon arrival and additionally throughout the entire office.
  • Your temperature will be taken (touchless) upon arrival. If you exhibit signs of fever you will be asked to reschedule.
  • We will be spacing appointments to minimize patient overlap and maximize social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
  • If you are coughing, sneezing, sick or have any possibility of exposure to individuals that have been sick we will require that you postpone visiting our office.
  • We have placed HEPA air filters throughout the entire office to aid in removal of any possible pollutants or pathogens from the air.
  • We have integrated and adapted aerosol isolation devices in all treatment rooms to help protect our patients and staff as well.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at (661) 450-6650.

We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, and friends.

Sincerely,

Dr. Brian and Team
