On occasion, dental decay is extensive enough to require a full crown restoration. If this situation occurs we will discuss this with you prior to treatment. A full crown restoration for a child is a much different procedure than that for an adult. It is completed in one appointment. Usually, the crown is made of stainless steel metal, but we also have the ability to provide your child with a naturally esthetic, tooth colored, acrylic crown. These options will be discussed with you if your child needs a crown.
